Veteran event production and operations manager brings expertise to Hall

The Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame announced today that Jim Lambright has been named the new executive director of the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame, effective immediately. Lambright replaces Dan Dolby, who recently accepted the position of general manager with Learfield Sports managing the UNLV Sports Properties.

Lambright started his career in sports management in 2001 in Augusta, Georgia working for the Arena Football League. He later moved to Bakersfield, California to assume the role of general manager for the Bakersfield Blitz. Lambright moved to Las Vegas in 2004 to work on the staff of the Las Vegas Gladiators.

After his stint in the Arena Football League, he served as the director of sales and membership for the YMCA. In 2009, Lambright launched Tactical Media Group, an experiential marketing firm based in Las Vegas, along side 3 Dot Entertainment, an event/sports production organization. His current clients include NBA Summer League, West Coast Conference, Western Athletic Conference and Tuff N Uff.

“Jim brings both passion and great experience to the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame,” said Dale Eeles, Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame Chairman. “He will be responsible for executing our annual induction ceremony, broadening our reach within the community and supporting our overall initiatives.”

“I am truly honored to be named the next executive director of the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame,” said Lambright. “As a long-time member of the Board of Trustees, I look forward to working with our board members and sponsors to continue our mission within this community.”

The Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame is a non-profit organization committed to recognizing the outstanding achievements by Southern Nevada athletes, both in the world of sports and the local community.

Proceeds from its annual event will be donated to organizations committed to the support and enhancement of Southern Nevada youth through active participation in programs designed to promote leadership, values and character through sports.
